Youth Congress leaders meet MLA

Shillong, June 10: Members of the Baghmara Assembly Youth Congress unit led by their president Budar Marak and general secretary Handrick Marak met the local MLA of Baghmara Samuel Sangma and submitted a memorandum with various demands pertaining to the needs of the people of Baghmara in particular and the people of South Garo Hills in general. The demands include upgradation of the Baghmara MePDCL sub-division to a full-fledged division, repair of the Baghmara-Dalu-Tura leg of NH-62, solution to the water crisis in Baghmara town and  opening of a Border Haat at Baghmara for the economic upliftment of the region.
