Youth drowns to death in Brahmaputra at Mayong

JAGIROAD: A youth drowned to death in the Brahmaputra at Mayong on Friday evening. Sources said that five youths from Jagiroad played Holi on Friday and left for the historic Garanga Temple at Mayong in the evening. Unfortunately, Shivam Gara (23) lost his balance on the bank of the river and fell into the river. Mayong Police later visited the spot and recovered the body. He hailed from Shilbhanga under Jagiroad PS.
