Youth Kills Father following a Quarrel at Simaluguri,Assam

JOYSAGAR, July 24: Nefia Phukan (51) of Tengapukhuri village under Simaluguri Police Station of Sivasagar was allegedly killed by his son Jitu Phukan following a quarrel. Sources informed that on Saturday night there was a fight between Nefia Phukan and his son Jitu over some domestic issues, following which Jitu attacked his father with a rod and Nefia died on the spot. Police arrived and arrested accused Jitu, sources added.
