Youth missing

GAURISAGAR, June 22: 27-year old Parag Das, son of late Tongkeswar Das of Jhanji, Norakonwer Bailung village (sikir chuk) under Gaurisagar Police station in Sivasagar district of Assam has been missing since May 20. According to reports, Parag along with his two friends Anon Chetia alias Dhoon and Pronab Das of the same village went to Bangalore by train in search of company job on May 18 from Simaluguri railway station in Sivasagar district. But on May 20, friends of Parag informed his family back home that he had gone missing from the train. In this regard, the family members had already lodged an FIR at Gaurisagar police station. A case has been registered at the PS vide GDE/ 620 dated May 27, 2018. While O/C Dadu Bora took up the matter with higher officials, he urged upon everyone to provide information if the youth is located.
