10-day Combined Annual Training Camp to held at Itanagar

ITANAGAR: In all, 500 cadets (boys & girls) from various schools and colleges from Arunachal Pradesh and Assam will be participating in a 10-day Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC) conducted by the 1 Arunachal Pradesh Bn (1APBN) NCC at Rajiv Gandhi Government Polytechnic and DNGC Itanagar. The main aim of the CATC is to introduce cadets to a disciplined military life and inculcate basic qualities of leadership, camaraderie and national integration and make them responsible citizens of the country.

Various community development activities like Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, blood donation camp, along with central lectures and demonstrations on first aid in case of emergencies by the Health Department, fire fighting demonstration by fire fighting service, Itanagar, weapons display and many other activities will be the major highlights of the CATC.
