ITANAGAR : The 2nd Chapter of ‘Sarkaar Apke Dwar’, at Walong circle of Anjaw district got underway with great fanfare on Thursday.

The event was inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner Mamata Riba along with village headmen and public of Walong Circle. Medical and veterinary camps held on the occasion also proved to be crowd pullers.

Medical/dental examination and blood tests, OAB sampling and distribution of IEC materials was carried out by the medical department. The veterinary department distributed medicines for cattle, mithuns, pigs and goats.

Distribution of saplings by the forest department and of seeds and utilities by agriculture and horticulture departments were also carried out. Special attraction of the day was distribution of plumbing equipment and training on plumbing by the PHE.
