All Arunachal Samagra Shiksha Abhiyaan Teachers Association called protest from August 8

ITANAGAR : The Central Body of All Arunachal Samagra Shiksha Abhiyaan Teachers Association (CB-AASSATA) has called for a dharna from August 8 to 10 at itanagar to protest against the government for not adopting tangible mechanism for regularization of SSA teachers in spite of repeated representation and memorandum to the State Government.

“Despite many representation and approach to the education department and state government our agenda for regularization of SSA teachers remain untouched even after sort out of technical clearance from the 5 member committee formed earlier, said the general secretary of the association Techi Bollo.”

Techi Bollo while addressing the reporters on Thursday said that, despite three Cabinet meetings on the issue, the department has not come out with results to our demand. “We will go for dharna if the demands are not heard within the seven days and non-cooperation movement and in definite hunger strike,” he added.
