Apollo Hospitals Group sets up its 58th Information Center at Arunachal

ITANAGAR: The Apollo Hospitals Group on Thursday opened its 58th Information Center (IC) as a part of its effort to bring advanced world-class healthcare services more accessible to the people of Arunachal Pradesh. The information center was inaugurated by local MLA Techi Kaso amidst a huge gathering on Thursday. Meanwhile, in a press conference at the Press Club, P Shivakumar, Chief Executive Officer, said that the organization is all set to provide healthcare of international standards and services of years of experience of expertise to the citizens of Arunachal Pradesh.

“Over the past years, we have established a series of centers in many States to cater to health facilities requirements following requests,” Shivkumar pointed out adding that people continued faith and trust in Apollo’s high quality of care has driven us to expand the IC in Arunachal Pradesh too.

This IC will offer super speciality OPD consultation services of visiting doctors from Apollo Hospitals locations in Chennai, Delhi, Guwahati, and Kolkata on top of disseminating information relating to treatment and facilities at Apollo Hospitals locations at Chennai, Delhi, Guwahati, and Kolkata.

Moreover, the center would also serve as a one-stop location for arranging prior appointments with consultants at any of these 4 locations and facilitate post-treatment follow up not requiring patients to travel and maintain continuity of care with greater convenience at a much lesser cost

The organization is also expected to embark on series of health care camp which includes Basic Life Support training sessions for Police Personnel, Health Screening, and Awareness Programs in the State Secretariat and corporate establishments, multi-speciality health screening camp, etc., in remote places across the State.

“The Information Centre will bring Apollo specialists in Cardiac Sciences, Oncology, Orthopaedics, Nephrologists, Urologists, Neurosurgeons, Gastroenterologists and many other key specialities from Apollo Hospitals in Chennai, Delhi, Guwahati & Kolkata on a regular basis for consultation from time to time,” said vice president, Apollo Hospitals, Chennai, R Sudharsan.

In addition to that, Sudharsan informed that the center would also cater to the healthcare needs of patients from remote areas who find it difficult to travel outside Itanagar.
