Itanagar: Government employees in Arunachal Pradesh have decided to contribute their one day salaries to the Chief Minister Relief Fund (CMRF) to help the government in its untiring effort to prevent outbreak of coronavirus in the State. The employees under the aegis of Confederation of Service Associations of Arunachal Pradesh (CoSAAP) in a letter to Chief Secretary Naresh Kumar on Friday urged him to issue an order for deduction of one day salary of every government employee for the month of March and to deposit the amount in the CMRF. The CoSAAP also in its letter requested the government to exempt those employees who are rendering 24X7 essential duty in the state to prevent outbreak of COVID-19. The Confederation pointed out that the decision was taken in solidarity with the government’s effort to prevent outbreak of coronavirus in the State.
