Arunachal Governor B D Mishra, CM Pema Khandu Discuss Vital Issues

Itanagar: Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu on Sunday called on Governor Brig (Retd) Dr B D Mishra at Raj Bhawan here and they discussed about vital development issues of the state.
During the discussion, the governor shared his observation on education sector and also about amenities provided to the group ‘C’ government employees’ accommodation, a Raj Bhawan communiqué informed. Dr Mishra, who recently attended the two-day workshop with the theme ‘Building Capacities to Take Forward Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Arunachal Pradesh’, expressed his appreciation to the chief minister for the important and farsighted initiatives of public interest, like Sarkar Aapke Dwar and shared his optimism which he thinks is the state government’s move in right direction.
“Government’s programmes will definitely help the people from the corruption free governance,” he said.
Khandu briefed the governor about his recent tours to different parts of the state and also the newly inaugurated districts of Shi Yomi, Lepa Rada and Pakke Kessang, the communiqué added.
