Arunachal Pradesh Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha Observes Kranti Diwas

ITANAGAR: Remembering the historic Quit India Movement initiated by Mahatma Gandhi and the Indian National Congress (INC), the Arunachal Pradesh Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) observed the day as Kranti Diwas here at Solung ground on Friday.

Addressing party youth workers, Minister for Health and Family Welfare Alo Libang asked all to be strong and dedicate themselves to the progress of the country. He said it was the youths during the Quit India Movement under the leadership of Mahatma Gandhi that led us to achieve freedom.

“One should understand the pain and hurdles that our great freedom fighters faced to achieve freedom for the country. Understanding their efforts, the BJYM should work for the betterment of our State and the people,” Libang said while highlighting the history of the Independence movement.

Speaking to the reporters, BJYM state president Taring Tiri said that every year on this day, Kranti Diwas is observed in the country to remember and cherish the work of freedom fighters.

BJYM national vice-president Atul Singh said that the workers should understand and feel privileged to be a part of the BJP yuva morcha. “We are the members of the biggest political party in the world working under the leadership of Narendra Modi and Amit Shah,” he said.
