Arunachal Pradesh contingent in Taj Mahotsava at Agra

Itanagar: A large contingent of 28 members comprising of two cultural troupes from the State participated in the Taj Mahotsava 2020 organized by Uttar Pradesh Tourism department at Agra.

Beautiful numbers called “Ngage Hage” and “Rikam Pada” were presented by the Ngull Chulyu group from Chulyu village of Lower Subansri district which have been developed under community based tourism by the State Tourism department.

Another team headed by renowned artist Delong Padung from “Karpum Karduk” a centre for performing arts, East Siang district presented yet another mesmerising folk songs and dance called “Yoyo Gaga” and “Hayako Hayaye”.

The programme was facilitated by the State Tourism department under Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat, a PM flagship programme for national integration, a press release informed here on Wednesday.
