ITANAGAR : Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister, Pema Khandu, announced that a brand new mini food park will be set up in the frontier state of Arunachal Pradesh soon. The minister stated this on Sunday, 4th of December, while addressing a public meeting at Dumporijo in the state's Upper Subansiri district. 

He forwarded the view that the mini food park will enhance and level up the agriculture and horticulture produces of the state. Pema Khandu encouraged the locals gathered there to take up entrepreneurship for overall development of the state and individually as well. He assured complete government support in the process. 

The chief minister grabbed the attention of the local people when he mentioned about the wide potential of the district in horticulture and agriculture produces. The prime motive of the mini food park in the district is to boost entrepreneurship, he added. The state government will provide its complete assistance in the establishment of the food park to help the local people to carry out their own businesses, stated Pema Khandu. 

The minister further mentioned that there is sufficient funds for the new establishment but the government expects quality work in return from the public. The CM said that, with the help of Central Government and the efforts of the state, there is no dearth of funds.

In the public meeting, CM Pema Khandu also talked about geo-tagging of all development projects of the state to check any sort of misuse of funds and also guarantee timely completion. Pema Khandu recently inaugurated multiple road projects and bridges under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojna (PMGSY). These projects include the BRTF road to Old Lida, Bui to Bolo and many more such road projects. 

Apart from this, Union Law Minister, Kiren Rijiju also initiated six PMGSY road project, including the 12 km road from Kuporiji to old Richi, 7 km road from BRTF road to Belo and so on.
