Confederation of Service Associations of Arunachal Pradesh (CoSAAP)condemns ‘barbaric’ act of Arunachal Scout personnel

ITANAGAR: The Confederation of Service Associations of Arunachal Pradesh (CoSAAP) has condemned the ‘barbaric’ act of Arunachal Scout personnel at Bomdila on November 2 and 3, where the personnel crossed all limits in destroying public properties and manhandling the district administration authorities and police personnel.

CoSAAP being the apex organization of the State Government employees has placed demands to the State Govt. to institute inquiry committee to be headed by Secretary to Govt. of A.P. level or DIGP, to book the Scout personnel who were responsible for such barbaric incident and to draw strict line of action to be maintained by Arunachal Scout personnel wherever they may be.

CoSAAP said that on November 2nd, 2018, two personnel of 2nd Arunachal Scout were found in Budha Mahotsova Ground without uniform and under intoxicated condition crating disturbances and misbehaving with ladies.

The civil police on duty took that duo and brought to the police station. And later on they were released after proper medication on interference of their senior officers the same night.

“But the mayhem created by the officers of the 2nd Arunachal Scout on 3rd November, 2018 morning was uncalled for with a huge contingent of personnel who vandalized the police station, vehicles, sign board and nearby PWD office as well as manhandling the police personnel, public and chasing the Deputy Commissioner’s car is unexpected and highly condemnable,” CoSAAP stated.
