Deputy Commissioner Himanshu Gupta convenes meeting

ITANAGAR: A coordination meeting was convened by the Capital Complex Deputy Commissioner-cum-returning officer of 13th Itanagar constituency Himanshu Gupta here on Friday to discuss issues relating to the polls in the State. SP Capital, Tumme Amo and all the heads of departments attended the meeting. In the meeting, Gupta urged all the sector magistrates to visit all the polling stations and submit list of requirements to the RO at the earliest. He also urged them to inspect the areas which are vulnerable. He further urged the magistrates and the police to work in close coordination to ensure a smooth, free and fair election.

Later, in a separate meeting with the Magistrates, Flying Squad Teams, Static Surveillance Team/Video Surveillance Team, Video Viewing Team/Liquor Monitoring Team, the DC briefed them about their tasks and responsibilities.
