Engineering college demanded at Toru: Arunachal Pradesh

Itanagar, Aug 1: The All Sagalee Students' Union has reiterated its demand for early construction of the government engineering college in Toru. The union stated in a representation to the PWD western zone chief engineer that the engineering college was approved by the authority in 2013 and Rs 26 crore sanctioned for execution of work, but the construction is yet to begin.

It claimed that the land donors are suffering "due to non-execution of work, as their cultivation land has been donated for construction of the engineering college." The union requested the CE to start construction work for the college at the earliest.
