ITANAGAR, July 4: A day-long Financial Literacy Awareness Programme (FLAP) was organized by Arunachal Pradesh Rural Bank (APRB), Roing Branch at Rayang village, Lower Dibang Valley district on Wednesday. The programme was attended by about 50 participants comprising mainly farmers and SHGs. Branch Manager, APRB Roing PB Chetry briefed the gathering about the different types of accounts that can be maintained in a bank. He also explained in detail about several benefits that can be availed by a customer having a bank account. He also spoke on social security schemes like PMJDY, PMSBY, PMJJBY, APY. DDM NABARD Nitya Mili informed the gathering about Financial Inclusion and Financial Planning. He also briefed the participants about the CM flagship schemes like CMKRY, DDUBY & DDUSY and GoI schemes viz. Mudra Yojana, SUI, DEDS & NLM.
