BORDUMSA, June 5: Praising the Pema Khandu-led BJP dispensation in Arunachal Pradesh during the Changlang district BJP executive meeting at Diyun on Tuesday, State BJP president Tapir Gao took potshots at the local legislator of the 49th Bordumsa-Diyun constituency for not undertaking any initiatives for the development of the area.
Terming the leader of the constituency as the foe of the BJP, Gao , addressing the party workers and common people, appealed the electorate to put an end to the rule of such leader during the forthcoming election slated to be held next year, by supporting the saffron party in order to ensure success of the BJP candidate from the 49th Diyun-Bordumsa seat.
“As you have voted for a non-BJP candidate in 2014 Assembly election, you must have now realized that you all had chosen a wrong candidate to represent the constituency. But you can still change the scenario if you lend your support to our BJP candidate in the 2019 election,” urged Gao. “If the BJP comes to power, there will be bridges, roads will be improved and education system will be streamlined in Diyun-Bordumsa as evident from other BJP-ruled constituency,” he stated.
Gao, who was accompanied by a host of dignitaries including former ministers, MLA of Changlang, BJP district presidents of Changlang and Namsai and State office bearers, also threw light on the essence of various socio-economic, educational, health and maternity schemes of the government.
