Minister Mama Natung seeks Centre's help to resolve Forest issues

NEW DELHI: Just after assuming the additional assignment of Environment & Forest, Arunachal Pradesh MInister for Sports & Youth Affairs and also Water Resources, Mama Natung on Monday called on Union Minister of Environment Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC) Prakash Javadekar along with East Arunachal Parliamentarian Tapir Gao at his official residence in New Delhi on Monday morning.

Natung discussed the various pending issues relating to the Department of Environment and Forest. He also requested the Union Minister to support the State government on forest related schemes and projects. The Union Minister assured to look into the forest-related issues of Arunachal Pradesh.

Further, he called on Secretary Ministry of EFCC, R. P. Gupta at Indra Paryavaran Bhawan New-Delhi and discussed the pending issues.

The EFCC Secretary also assured to support Arunachal Pradesh and provide all requisite assistance from the union ministry.

Natung was accompanied by Deputy Residential Commissioner Sangeet Dubey.

On Sunday, Natung called on Union Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports (I/C) & Minority Affairs Kiren Rijiju at his official residence and discussed various pressing issues relating to youth and sports department of the State.
