Nehru Yuva Kendra, NDRF organized COVID awareness drive in Pasighat

PASIGHAT: Volunteers of the Nehru Yuva Kendra (NYK) along with the NDRF-trained volunteers of East Siang District organized a mass awareness poster and wall-writing campaign on the COVID-19 pandemic here on Sunday. While distributing the homemade masks to the people, District Youth Coordinator of NYK Tapun Taki appealed to the masses to maintain social distancing, use masks and also wash hand regularly. He also requested them to comply with the lockdown guidelines strictly to stop the spread of coronavirus as precautionary measures. Taki informed that the NYK volunteers have so far distributed more than 550 masks free of cost to the students and daily wage earners within the district.
