ITANAGAR: The All Nyishi Youth Association (ANYA) on Thursday demanded that the State Government modifies the Arunachal Pradesh State Staff Selection Board (APSSB) and the Arunachal Pradesh District based Entrepreneurs & Professionals (Incentives, Development and Promotional) Act 2015.

Addressing the media here, ANYA vice-president Temi Pabo said that according to the Arunachal Pradesh District based Entrepreneurs & Professionals Act, a person should have four years of experience to participate in the tender. “Four years of experience is a bit too much and this deprives the youth to take up entrepreneurship as a career and the Act has become draconian for them,” he said.

Pabo also added that, there is need of modification in the free and fair recruitment of Group C post in the government department. “This Act also needs to be modified under the APSSB Act to have equal employment opportunity in every district of the State as unemployment is increasing,” he added.
