Reformative People’s Forum submits memorandum to State Chief Secretary

ITANAGAR: Reformative People’s Forum (RPF) of 10th East Seppa alleged the present MLA Tapuk Taku on various illegalities in the district and informed that the forum has submitted a memorandum to the state chief secretary regarding five major illegal practices here at press club on Wednesday.

Briefing the reporter’s, spokesperson of RPF Rajo Gyadi said that it is very sad to know that the present MLA is misusing his power to only benefit his family. Speaking on illegal encroachment he said that there is a forest nursery in Seppa town for many decades but surprisingly it has been know that under the note sheet provided by the minister the department has granted land allotment.

“How can a minister direct a government official to provide NOC to any individual seeking for land allotment in the government property? And to add more to it, the officials of the department is also to be blamed as they are not taking up own responsibility,” he said.

Highlighting on the completion of mini-secretariat building in the district, he said that the construction of the building started two years back and according to the project norms it should have been completed by this month end. “But very surpassingly the building has not been completed and only the 20 percent of the work has been executed,” he said adding that the work also has been awarded to his immediate blood brother Tassang Taku.

On the misuse of unemployed women’s hostel and old aged & destitute home, he alleged that the building now is being run by one Rocky Taku as a private school. The home was constructed by the UD for sheltering of the needy people but under the leadership of MLA everything seems to be going on clan basis, he added.

The forum also said that in the year 2017, under SIDF scheme a fund was released for the carpeting of Seppa town road but the work was not executed and completed as per the specification like non completion of drainage and culvert.

Meanwhile, when spoke with the MLA Tapuk Taku, he said that those group of people are pro BJP and with the intention to tarnish the hard earned image and reputation of mine which has no iota of truth.
