Saint Claret College, Ziro Observe Freshers’ Day 2019

ZIRO: Saint Claret College, Ziro observed Fresher’s Day 2019 with much fun and gaiety at its college auditorium on Wednesday.

Speaking on the occasion, former Saint Claret College Vice-Principal and the Chief Guest on the occasion, Fr George NV said, “Students are gem of the college and one must ensure to make parents and society proud with good performances”. He advised the students to overcome negative influence and excel by focusing more on positive aspects in life. “Find the hidden opportunities and fulfil your dreams,” he advised the students. Principal Dr. Fr. Allwyn Mendoz, welcomed the new students. Pointing out that the Freshers’ Day is a memorable moment in a student’s life, the principal encouraged the students to excel in their studies and extra-curricular activities.

Various cultural performances were rendered by the students. Kenmin Karlo and Teli Yam were adjudged ‘Mr Fresher’ and ‘Miss Fresher’ respectively.
