Skill development sensitization rally organized: Aruanchal

NIRJULI: A one day Skill Development Sensitization, Motivation & Trainees Selection Rally 2018-19 under Chief Minister Yuva Kausal Yojana (CMYKY) and Pradhan Mantri Kausal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) was organized by the Principal, Govt. Industrial Training Institute (ITI) in collaboration with the Papum Pare District Administration for sensitization of youth about skill development schemes and training at Nyikum Niya Hall, Nirjuli on Wednesday.

Joint director of Industries, Er. K. Sharma said that this mission is beneficial to all the unemployed youths to upgrade and get skilled training in various trades like electrician, plumbing, aviation sector, hospitality sector, healthcare sector, etc., by upgrading their skills and they could earn livelihood and get employed.

He stressed on dignity of labour stating all occupation, whether involving intellect or physical labour deserves equal respect and dignity. No job should be considered superior or inferior. Every job that is done with honesty and sincerity deserves appreciation.

Analyst-NE/State Engagement Officer, NSDC Masot Zimik, while briefing the aims & objectives of the programme, asked the youth of the State to avail the benefit out of this programme being sponsored by the Department of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh to be skilled and get employed. He also elaborated the skill India Mission including Pradhan Mantri Kausal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY), etc.

In all 10 skill training providers from different parts of India and Arunachal had joined the journey towards “Skill India” launched by Skill Development & Entrepreneurship Department, Government of Arunachal Pradesh.
