Assam COVID-19 update: 3 more patients discharged; 9 active cases remain

GUWAHATI: Assam Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has announced that 3 more patients have been discharged from hospitals and that there are 9 active cases that remain as of today.

He tweeted,"Glad that 3 more patients are being discharged today. # 2 Morigaon patients from MMCH, Ghy # 1 patient from Civil Hosp, Golaghat Additionally, one patient of Nagaland admitted at GMCH, Ghy is also being discharged. Only 9 active cases remain, as on date."

Sarma had also tweeted earlier to inform that 30 out of 33 districts in the state have fallen under Green Zone.
