2 die of COVID in Sonitpur district

TEZPUR: Two persons lost their lives due to COVID-19 in Sonitpur district on Friday. They have been identified as Jonali Choudhury (35), resident of Nikamul Xatra, Tezpur and Deepak Sarmah (46), resident of Chandmari Tezpur. These two deaths have taken the death toll to 105 in the district during the second wave of the pandemic.

Altogether 6,263 tests were done across the district on Friday out of which 5,439 were RAT and rest RT-PCR and among the new 281 positive cases found, 252 cases were from RAT and 29 from RT-PCR.
