22 more people found COVID-19 positive in Biswanath district

BISWANATH CHARIALI: As many as 22 people tested positive for COVID-19 in Biswanath district till filing of this report.

They were identified as Miki Sharma (14), Sulekha Sharma (40), Ayush Sharma (18), Kundan Thakur (6), Priyanka Sharma (25), Sadhana Devi (26), Hari Prasad Thakur (55), Dipti Sharma (10), Panavati Devi (60), Bikash Kafle (24) of Balipukhuri Army Camp, Biswanath, Nilesh Dhamal (30) of Balipukhuri Army Camp, Biswanath, Sanjay Prasad (36), Birendra Prasad Sharma (55), Kapil Mili (23), Jayanta Pradhan (22), Sharsuram Patil (42) of Balipukhuri Army Camp, Biswanath, Kiran Kumar Mangle (42), Balipukhuri Army Camp, Biswanath, B Pujari (42) of Balipukhuri Army Camp, Biswanath, Mayur Patil (31) of Balipukhuri Army Camp, Biswanath, Julekha Barla (28), Devendra Kumar (35) and Rohit Jain (36).

These people had come in close contact with the Guwahati-returned SBI official directly or indirectly in Biswanath Chariali town, including the barber, who cut bank official's hair.

With this, total number of people infected with COVID-19 in Biswanath district reached up to 132.
