29 COVID-19 patients under treatment in Udalguri

UDALGURI: The Udalguri district administration has been trying to keep the people in safe position from the effect of COVID-19. Out of the 122 COVID-19 cases, only 29 are under treatment at the isolation ward of Udalguri 200-bedded hospital. Already 93 person were cured.

In a meeting held at Udalguri DC office, the overal COVID situation in the district was reviewed. PHE Minister Rihon Daimari urged the administration to keep intense vigil upon the people who were in home quarentine after the completion of community quarantine. He also directed the officials to look after the daily essentials of those who are in home quarantine. Udalguri DC Prakash Ranjan Gharphalia has directed the circle officers to ensure the supply of essential goods to the people in home quarantine. Minister Rihon Daimari also urged to keep the list of the returned people from out of the State to engage them in various government schemes in future. The meeting was also attended by Ripul Das the SP Udalguri, Assistant Commissioners, Debashis Borthakur the i/c PRO among others. There are 37 quarantine centres in Udalguri district where a total of 2756 person were kept. 6,000 person have returned to the district so far.
