44 new COVID positive cases reported in Barpeta district during the last 24 hours

BARPETA: The number of COVID-19 positive cases is increasing rapidly in Barpeta district. During the last 24 hours, 44 COVID-19 positive cases were reported in different parts of Barpeta district.

Among them, four are from Chenga, four from Barpeta Road, six from Bhawanipur, 16 from Nityananda, 10 from Kalgachiya, two from Nagaon and two from Mandia. At present there are 162 COVID-19 positive cases in the entire district.

On Sunday, the total number of COVID-19 positive cases was 118. A youth named Arupjyoti Choudhury of Barpeta Dahati died due to COVID-19 at a private hospital in Guwahati. He had been admitted a week ago.
