4th Poem recitation programme Charon Beel Kabita held at Morigaon

MORIGAON: Socio-cultural, as well as literary organization Charon Beel Kabita, celebrated its 4th year by organizing poem recitation, interaction session with noted persons and reading out of self-written stories on Sunday at Morigaon Nipun Deka Sadan. The programme started with a welcome address by the co-ordinator, Ashok Deka. Arindam Borkatoki, noted critic, inaugurated the function with a speech. The executive editor of the magazine Satsari, Atanu Bhatacharya, accompanied by Mitali De, presented a story written by Kishan Chandar and Sadat Hasan Mantu based on the partition of India. The interaction session with Atanu Bhatacharya and the sub-editor of literary magazine Prakash, Gitali Bora was conducted by writer Hemchandra Dutta. Around 25 poets from various parts of Nagaon and Morigaon districts took part in the poem recitation programme.
