54th Corps SSB organizes free medical camp in Kokrajhar

Kokrajhar: The 54th Corps Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Bijni, deployed for the protection of the Indo-Bhutan international border areas organizes free medical camps quite often for the treatment of people and livestock affected by winter seasonal diseases.

A free medical camp was organized on Friday under Barmabari, Border Outpost of Baksa district at Fatimabad Tea Garden LP School, during which free treatment of 132 villagers and 326 animals was done and medicines were also distributed free of cost.

Dr. Kiran Kumar Brown, Sub-Commandant (Chakitsa) of Sashastra Seema Bal, also informed the villagers about various seasonal diseases and gave appropriate suggestions. The second commandant of the 54th Corps, BR Chauhan, Munesh Kumar Sub-Commandant and other local dignitaries were present.
