63 COVID-19 cases detected in Sonitpur district

TEZPUR: Total 63 fresh COVID-19 cases were detected in Sonitpur district on Friday. Out of the 63 fresh cases, 52 cases were detected from RAT and 11 from RT-PCR. The death toll in the district during the second wave of the pandemic now stands at 221. Altogether 8,464 tests were done across the district on Friday, out of which 8,084 were RAT and rest RT-PCR.
