80 person test COVID positive in Biswanath district

BISWANATH CHARIALI: As many as 80 persons tested COVID positive on Tuesday in Biswanath district and with this, the total number of COVID-19 positive cases reached 372. Among them, 19 persons have been hospitalized while 233 have been kept in home isolation. However, 120 people have recovered so far. Meanwhile, the District Magistrate, Biswanath, declared No 2 Dholi Dilichang village and Nilpur Tea Estate under Biswanath Revenue Circle as micro containment zones on Tuesday since 8 and 24 persons respectively tested positive in the said villages. Any unauthorized entry and exit into the notified zones has been barred until further order.
