90 new cases detected in Sivasagar district, one dies of COVID

DEMOW/GAURISAGAR: Hirannya Borah, a resident of Khanamukh Khutarahabi village under Khanamukh Health Sub-centre in Sivasagar district, died COVID-19 on Thursday at Jorhat Medical College and Hospital (JMCH).

Meanwhile, a total of 90 new cases were detected in Sivasagar district on Thursday. According to sources, there were 519 active cases in the district till Thursday. Total 462 patients are under home isolation, 35 in Sivasagar Civil Hospital, 6 in Siu-Ka-Pha Hospital, 2 in Sanjeevani, Dibrugarh, 2 in Brahmaputra Hospital Dibrugarh, 1 in JMCH, Jorhat, 3 in AMCH, Dibrugarh, and 8 in ONGC, Sivasagar. Total 53 patients were discharged on Thursday.
