A Tribute to Binima Begum

Binima Begum, my dear Jethima, left for her heavenly abode on August 16, 2008. Born to Azizur Rahman and Haitun Nessa at Bezera of Kamrup (R) in 1967, Jethima was the second eldest daughter among her siblings.

After completing her graduation from Pub-Kamrup College, she tied her nuptial knot with Saidur Rahman with whom she had two daughters. Her soft corner and love for children made her become an Anganwadi worker for a minimum honorarium for years until she embraced her untimely death. A noble soul, Binima Begum often donated clothes and gifts among the poor and orphans

A voice we loved has become still, leaving a great void in our family. Though on earth you are no more, but in memory you are with us as you always were before. On your 11th death anniversary, I pray for peace to your departed soul. May Almighty bless you with Jannah.
