Air Marshal RD Mathur visits Air Force Station Tezpur

Tezpur: Air Marshal RD Mathur AVSM VSM, Air Officer Commanding- in- Chief, Eastern Air Command visited 11 Wing, Air Force Station Tezpur on Tuesday. The Air Marshal was received by Air Commodore Tejpal Singh VM, Air Officer Commanding, Air Force Station Tezpur. On arrival, he met all the key appointments of the station. The Air Marshal is a three-star officer with more than 5,000 hours of fighter flying to his credit. He was presented with a Guard of Honour in true military spirit.

The Air Marshal visited various units in the station and was briefed on their operational readiness. He interacted with all the personnel of the station and appreciated their performance and advised them to be physically fit and mentally alert at all times. Before his departure for Shillong, the Air Marshal expressed his satisfaction with the operational readiness of the base. He appreciated the performance of the air warriors towards the maintenance and utilization of assets and other infrastructure. The Air Marshal was accompanied by Shipra Mathur, president of AFWWA(R), who was received by Seema Singh, president of AFWWA (L). Shipra Mathur visited the A School and AFWWA ventures, interacted with the staff and appreciated their work.
