TANGLA: As a part of its annual effort to encourage the ignited spirits, the central committee of the All Assam Students' Union (AASU), in coordination with Udalguri district committee, AASU, hosted a special felicitation programme where Sumit Barman, who passed HS (Commerce) from National Pioneer Senior Secondary School in 2021 and was among 100 high-ranking students of the State, was felicitated in the school premises in Tangla town of Udalguri district on Thursday.
Addressing the gathering, AASU vice-president, Jayanta Kumar Bhattacharya exhorted the students to work hard to achieve their goals and bring glory to the State and region in particular.
The event attended by AASU central committee organizing secretary Bitupon Das; AASU Udalguri chapter president Pranjal Patowary ; and other AASU leaders, also witnessed the felicitation of the institute's Principal, Syed Parvezul Haque. The felicitation carried a certificate of appreciation, memento and gifts each.
