All Assam Students Union protests against Citizenship Amendment Act

DOOMDOOMA: In response to the call by the All Assam Students' Union (AASU), Tinsukia District Committee, Doomdooma Regional Students' Union (DRSU) formed a human chain to demand repeal of the Citizenship (Amendment) Act (CAA), 2019 on NH-37 in front of the ASTC premises on Wednesday and shouted various slogans.

Later addressing the protest meeting, Binoy Dubey, executive member of the AASU, said that the protest would continue till the CAA was repealed. He demanded immediate release of all the detainees of the anti-CAA movement.
