All Assam Students Union regional committee office opened in Demow

DEMOW: The office of All Assam Students Union (AASU), Demow Regional Committee was opened in College Road Hari Pora Road in Demow on Thursday. The programme started with felicitation where General Secretary of AASU Lurin Jyoti Gogoi, Vice-President of AASU Manik Gogoi, Education Secretary of AASU Sarat Hazarika along with other dignitaries of the area were felicitated with a Fulam Gamosa and Seleng Chadar by the leaders of AASU, Demow Regional Committee in the programme. Lurin Jyoti Gogoi, Manik Gogoi and Sarat Hazarika delivered their valuable speeches in the inaugural programme of the new office of AASU, Demow Regional Committee. Lurin Jyoti Gogoi cut the red ribbon and inaugurated the new office of AASU, Demow Regional Committee. A Statue in the memory of Swahid Akash Barua which is in front of AASU, Demow Regional Committee new office was inaugurated by Manik Gogoi. A Book Bank which is in the new office of AASU, Demow Regional Committee was inaugurated by Sarat Hazarika. In the programme Retired Principal of Demow Higher Secondary School Anil Kumar Dey, Retired Principal of Demow College Naranath Chetia, Retired Principal of HCDG College Luhit Saikia, AASU leaders, AASU Demow Regional Committee leaders, media persons of Demow along with other dignitaries were present.
