Assam Cha Jonogusthee Jatiya Mahasabha resorts to road blockade demanding the arrest of culprit in minor rape case

TINSUKIA: The Tinsukia Anchalik Committee of Assam Cha Jonogusthee Jatiya Mahasabha (ACJJM) resorted to road blockade for few hours in front of St. Lukes Hospital after Tinsukia Police failed to book the culprit who raped a minor girl on Wednesday evening.

According to reports, the victim girl belonging to Rongpuria Pakhorijan Gaon was picked up by the miscreant from the road and allegedly raped. Though the parents immediately lodged an FIR at Tinsukia Police Station, the rapist reportedly absconded. The ACJJM submitted a memorandum to the Deputy Commissioner of Tinsukia and demanded arrest of culprit within two days.
