Assam Chief Secretary Kumar Sanjay Krishna visits FAAMCH

BARPETA: The Chief Secretary of Assam, Kumar Sanjay Krishna visited the Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed Medical College and Hospital (FAAMCH), Barpeta on Thursday. The Chief Secretary said that due to increase in the number of COVID-19 cases, it was getting difficult to give swab test results within a short time. He also said that there were problems in some quarantine centres of the district.

He talked with the principal of FAAMCH, Superintendent of the medical college, Deputy Commissioner and Superintendent of Police of the district on how to tackle the present COVID situation. He also said that swab test results were getting delayed due to some technical problems. Talking to media persons, the Chief Secretary said that results would be declared within 48 hours from now onwards.
