BCPL donates Rs 1 crore to CM's Relief Fund

DIBRUGARH: BCPL has been an upcoming corporate entity in the entire North-Eastern region where Government of Assam has equity stake. Since its inception, BCPL's endeavour has been to develop the socio-economic fabric of the region. In one such move BCPL handed over a cheque of rupees one crore to Chief Minister's Relief Fund as a goodwill gesture. The cheque was handed over by the Managing Director, BCPL Reep Hazarika to Chief Minister of Assam Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma in the presence of Rameswar Teli, Minister of State in the ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas and Minister of State in the Ministry of Labour and Employment. Other senior officials of BCPL who were present on the occasion were Ruli Das Sen, Company Secretary and Swastik Mohanty Senior Manager (Marketing).
