DIPHU: The BJP candidate of 3 Diphu (ST) Autonomous District Parliamentary Constituency, Horen Sing Bey campaigned in West Karbi Anglong. He was accompanied by Chief Executive Member (CEM) of the Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC), Tuliram Ronghang, Baithalangso MLA Dr. Mansing Rongpi, president of West Karbi Anglong District Committee, Arun Terang, Members of Autonomous Council (MACs), Prabhat Taro, Ramsing Timung and Reena Terangpi, and party workers and supporters.

Bey was welcomed at Kheroni, Jengkha, Dongkamukam, Baithalangso, Dalimbari and Tumpreng in a grand manner. Bey expressed confidence that he would surely win as there was no competition. At the welcome ceremony at Dongkamukam on Monday, Bey said, "We have discussed this among ourselves and come to the conclusion that we will surely win. Our concern is to increase the percentage of winning. The Congress candidate has given up already. We will create a record margin win. Making me win is making Narendra Modi win."

CEM Ronghang also expressed confidence that his party would win. He said, "We will have to make BJP candidate Horen Sing Bey win by a huge margin. He will raise the issue of implementation of Article 244(A) of the Indian Constitution in Parliament. He has promised that he will fight for autonomous state in Parliament."
