BJP grabs 2 seats, Congress wins 1 in Deori Autonomous Council election, 2022
Deori Autonomous Council election was held on November 8 in 5 no Tengapani Constituency, 6 no Kotiori Constituency and 7 no Rajabari Constituency of Thowra constituency in the Sivasagar district.

DEMOW: Deori Autonomous Council election was held on November 8 in 5 no Tengapani Constituency, 6 no Kotiori Constituency and 7 no Rajabari Constituency of Thowra constituency in the Sivasagar district. The results of the Deori Autonomous Council election, 2022 were declared on Thursday The BJP won two seats and the Congress won one seat. Huneswar Deori of Congress won in 5 No. Tengapani Constituency with 308 votes. Hiranjit Bireswar Deori of BJP won in 6 No Kotiori Constituencywith 527 votes. Bhirab Deori of BJP won in 7 no. Rajabari constituency with 970 votes.
