BJP leader Bimal Oswal appointed as independent Director of Neepco
Former Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state vice-president Bimal Oswal was appointed as independent Director of Neepco by the Union Ministry of Power.

DHUBRI: Former Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state vice-president Bimal Oswal was appointed as independent Director of Neepco by the Union Ministry of Power. The notification and order was issued to this effect on Thursday by the ministry.
A resident of Dhubri Bimal town, Bimal Oswal is known to people as an ardent social worker with humble and amiable virtues. Earlier, Oswal had discharged his duties with responsibility in various posts of the party in western Assam districts. Bimal Oswal had joined the BJP after the assassination of his father, Dr Pannalal Oswal in 1999. Dr Oswal was assassinated while he was BJP candidate from Dhubri parliamentary constituency.
A State senior party leader opined that Bimal Oswal never looked back after joining the party as he continued to rise in the party from a primary member to Dhubri district unit BJP president and chairing the post of State vice-president.
