Bodoland People's Front takes out protest march in Tangla

TANGLA: The Bodoland People's Front (BPF) has pressed for the demand for holding of the Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) polls in the month of October, before the expiry of Governor's Rule scheduled to end on October 27.

The members and supporters of the Bodoland People's Front (BPF) took out a protest rally at Bhergaon and Udalguri here on Monday and rented the air with high-pitched slogans against the Assam BJP leaders and United People's Party Liberal (UPPL).

Former Executive Members of BTC, Jagdish Sarkar; Lwmsharo Daimari; former Deputy Speaker of BTC, Nerswn Boro ; former Member Council of Legislative Assembly (MCLA) Suresh Tanti; Paneri MLA Kamali Basumatary; Kalaigaon MLA Maheswar Boro and many other senior leader of the party took part in the rally.
