Book describing life during the COVID-19 lockdown released

JAGIROAD: A book describing life during the COVID-19 lockdown titled Aatma Banditwar Dinlipi by writer and owner of Sristi Prakashan, Jagiroad, Ajit Rai was formally released on Tuesday by veteran poet and Morigaon Superintendent of Police Dr.Nanda Singh Barkola at Jagiroad Kalamandir.

While releasing the book, Dr Barkola said that people today were running after their narrow selfish interests which cause social disharmony and degrades human values. He also said that people need to respect nature which was maintaining the ecological balance of the world.

The programme was also attended by Axam Xahitya Xabha central executive Jayanta Deka and founder president of Jagiroad Lekhika Samaroh Samity, Chitralekha Bora.
