KOKRAJHAR: With the announcement of Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) elections scheduled to be held in two phase on December 7 and December 10, political party leaders and candidates have intensified their campaign by holding rallies and meetings to reach out to the public with promises of all-round development.

Bodoland People's Front (BPF) Baukhungri constituency candidate Doneswar Goyary on Wednesday inaugurated the Town Primary Committee office at RN Brahma Road and held a meeting with party workers and supporters as part of his election campaign.

Talking to reporters, the senior BPF leader hailed the State Election Commissioner for declaring the dates of BTC election. He said the BPF would win the elections with majority and form the government again in the BTC for the fourth time under the leadership of Hagrama Mohilary. He expressed confidence of his victory from the Baukhungri constituency.
