Brahmaputra Cracker and Polymer Limited bags 7th Annual CSR India Award 2020

DIBRUGARH: Brahmaputra Cracker and Polymer Limited (BCPL) bagged the 7th Annual CSR India Award 2020 in the category of 'Promotion of Health and Healthcare' for its outstanding achievements.

The award is recognition of BCPL's commitment towards socio-economic development of the people residing in its operational areas. While fulfilling its duty as a responsible and committed corporate, BCPL has been undertaking various programmes and projects under thrust areas like education, healthcare and skill development so as to improve the quality of life of the people and communities in its operational areas. The award has been conferred to BCPL for its association with a massive awareness campaign on menstrual hygiene which addressed the health care perspective of the women population in nearby tea garden areas.

Chief Operating Officer of BCPL, R K Singh, and General Manager (Human Resources) Asit Das, participated in the live virtual event of the award ceremony organized by Genentech Foundation.
