BTR Goriya-Moriya Deshi Students' Union stages dharna in Kalaigaon

KALAIGAON: The Kalaigaon Anchalik Committee of BTR Goriya-Moriya Deshi Students' Union staged dharna in front of  Revenue Circle Office on Friday to demand creation of a development board in Bodoland Territorial Council for their community. They were supported by Chah Janagusthi Jolha.

The organizations submitted a memorandum to the Chief Minister of Assam through the Circle Officer of Kalaigaon revenue circle. They stated in the memorandum that they were the indigenous community of Assam and they demanded the Chief Minister to take proper initiative to create a development board.
